About HOUSTON EXPRESS SOCCER CLUB

Houston Express Soccer Club exists to enhance the development of youth soccer players at all levels of play.  Our Club is one of the leading youth soccer clubs in Southeast Texas, currently providing playing opportunities for approximately 2,000 young athletes. We strive to instill a love for the game in our young players and cultivate that passion as each athlete matures. We seek to promote character and self confidence in each of our players as well as pride in our teams and our club. We work to foster an environment that allows each player to participate at a level appropriate with his or her interest and ability, be it recreational or competitive.

Comprehensive programs are available for boys and girls ages 4-18 regardless of experience or playing level - from beginners and recreational players through and including Division I, the highest competitive level in youth soccer.  In furtherance of this objective our Club offers a recreational division under the name "West U Soccer" and a competitive division under the name "Houston Express Soccer."

The West U Soccer program focuses on our young and recreationally-oriented soccer players, and its principal focus is on learning the basic skills in a fun and nurturing environment.  All practices and games are held in our neighborhood.  Qualified professional trainers work with volunteer coaches to ensure a positive environment for our recreational players

The Houston Express Soccer program is designed for the player looking for a more competitive level of play.  Houston Express teams play teams from other competitive clubs and generally participate in several tournaments a season.  Express teams participate in either the Houston Youth Soccer Association or the Eastern District Division One Association and play some or all of their games away from the Club's home fields in and around the greater Houston area.  Qualified professionals train and coach Express teams and follow a defined curriculum to maximize player development.
