Southwest Football League

The new SOUTHWEST FOOTBALL LEAGUE ("SFL") was formed in response to the greatly increased interest in youth football and cheerleading from residents of the greater Bellaire, Braeswood, River Oaks and West University areas. Priority registration will be given to past "Bellaire Bear" and "West U Shamrock" players and cheerleaders (and their siblings), and thereafter new players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis at registration. Generally speaking, the new league’s structure and playing rules will be designed to reflect the vast feedback received from the parents of children who have participated in other Houston area football and cheerleading programs.
